Decision

1.  
That the recommissioning of a Buildings-based Day Care Services for
people aged 18 and above, as described in the report, be
approved.
2.  
That the undertaking of a procurement process to establish an Open
Select List of providers, with contracts to be awarded for
Buildings-Based Day Care for a 2-year period effective from 1
September 2024, to allow for a wider review of in-house and
externally commissioned day care services to be completed and the
development of the most effective future day care strategy be
approved.
3.  
That authority be delegated to the Executive Director – Adult
Care and Community Wellbeing, in consultation with the Executive
Councillor for Adult Care and Public Health, to determine the final
form and to approve the award of the contracts.
