Decision

1.   
That the Leader of the Council approves the scheme for the
modification of the Council’s existing Waste Transfer Station
and the purchase and construction of a new Waste Transfer Station,
including wheel loading shovel as detailed in the report
(Scheme).

 
2.   
That the Executive Councillor for Waste and Trading Standards:
 

a)   
Approves the undertaking of any procurement processes and the
purchase of any land necessary for delivery of the Scheme; and
 

b)   
Delegates authority to the Executive Director – Place, in
consultation with the Executive Councillor for Waste and Trading
Standards, to take all decisions necessary to progress the scheme
up to and including determination of the final form of contracts
and the award and execution of those contracts and other
documentation and agreements necessary to deliver the Scheme.
