Decision

1.   
That the Leader of the Council (Executive Councillor for Resources,
Communications and Commissioning) approves the scheme for the
construction of the Hawthorn Road shared footway and cycleway
(Scheme) as detailed in the report.

 
2.   
That the Executive Councillor for Highways, Transport and IT
approves the undertaking of a procurement process for construction
and delivery of the scheme; and
 
3.   
That authority be delegated to the Executive Director –
Place, in consultation with the Executive Councillor for Highways,
Transport and IT, to take all decisions necessary to progress the
Scheme, up to and including the determination of the final form of
the contract and the award and execution of the contract and such
other documentation necessary to deliver the Scheme.
