About
The Environment, Climate Change and Neighbourhoods Scrutiny Committee examines how the Council's decisions, policies, and services impact the city and its residents regarding environmental matters. It does not make decisions but can recommend improvements to the delivery of the Manchester Strategy.
This committee specifically reviews issues such as the Climate Change Strategy, waste management, carbon emissions, neighbourhood working, flood management, planning policy, and parks and green spaces. While the public cannot automatically speak at meetings, they may be invited to do so by the Chair if they have a special interest in an agenda item.
