Reasons for the decision

The
Economic and Assets PDG asked that the Permit proposals be further
reviewed by the Car Parking Consultative Group in September,
therefore a delegated decision for Christmas Parking days was
required to allow time and to enhance trade over the festive period
for local retailers.
