Decision

The Cabinet had before it a report * from the Head of People, Performance and Waste and the Environment and Enforcement Manager on the correction from the Economy & Assets Policy Development Group (PDG) recommendations to Cabinet to review and approve the proposals.

RESOLVED that:

1. Review the proposals made initially by the Car Parking Consultative Group regarding car permits and the considerations of the Economy & Assets PDG and approved:

a)    The development of proposals around a new business permit to be made uniformly available across the District.

b)    Future consideration be given by the Cabinet to extend free parking for market traders to other market towns.
