Decision

The Cabinet had before it a report * from the Director of Place and Economy and the Forward Planning Team Leader on the new timetable that had been prepared which set out the timeline and key milestones for preparation of the Local Plan.

RESOLVED that:

1. The Local Plan timetable for the new Local Plan (Appendix 1) and statement that the timetable was to have effect (Appendix 2) were approved and made available in accordance with the regulation requirements, and that delegated authority was given to the Director of Place and Economy in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning and Economic Regeneration to approve subsequent updates to the Local Plan timetable where revisions had been made to it.

1. The Notice of Intention to commence Local Plan preparation (Appendix 3) was approved and made available in accordance with the regulation requirements.

1. The Notice of Scoping Consultation (Appendix 4) was approved and was made available in accordance with the regulation requirements, and a six- week representation period was commenced during which representations on the matters contained within it may be received by the Council.
