Terms of Reference
- South Tees Health Scrutiny Joint Committee
To undertake jointly with Redcar and Cleveland Council, scrutiny of any issue or topic pertaining to the south of the Tees health economy under the powers contained in the Health and Social Care Act 2001, in accordance with agreed protocols.
Seats: 10
Quorum: The quorum of the Joint Committee shall be 4, as long as both local authorities are represented (as detailed in the Protocol for the South Tees Health Scrutiny Joint Committee).
Membership - South Tees Health Scrutiny Joint Committee
The membership of this committee is made up of 5 elected members from each of the following local authorities:
· Redcar and Cleveland Council
· Middlesbrough Council
Support for the South Tees Health Scrutiny Joint Committee alternates between the two local authorities.
