Purpose

To consider approving the Play Area Action
Plan. The plan looks to develop the improvement plan of existing
facilities, types of play as well as future play
provision.

Content

1.         That the
Play Area Action Plan, attached as an Annex to the report, be
adoptedas the ten-year strategic plan for public play areas across
the city.

2.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Environment and Property
(in consultation with the Cabinet member for Public Realm) to make
consequential, and minor typographical amendments to the
Plan.
