1.         That the
Briefing Note be noted.

2.         That the
Taxi Licensing Lead to amend the wording in C16.1 in regard first
aid kit(s).  The Taxi Policy to note
that, whilst fire extinguishers will no longer be compulsory for
private hire vehicles, the Council still recommends that they be
carried in vehicles on the proviso that the driver has had
appropriate training in their use. 
These amendments to be completed in accordance with the minor
variation process as outlined in the Taxi Policy.
