The Sub-Committee resolved to grant the variation
application, subject to the following conditions and
restrictions:
1.
Opening
Hours
07:00 hours to 00:00 hours, Monday to Sunday
2.
Sale of
Alcohol
08:00 hours to 00:00 hours, Monday to Sunday
3. That the
following conditions be added to the licence:
(a) that
the Premises
Licence Holder creates and maintains a risk assessment to determine
a suitable number of staff to be present on site when the shop is
operating between 23:00 and 00:00 hours. The risk assessment will
be updated on an annual basis and will consider incidents that have
occurred over the past twelve months;
(b) that additional
customer signage be displayed to encourage respectful behaviour of
patrons when leaving the premises;
(c) that rubbish
not be taken out of the premises after 23:00 hours; and
(d) that a Challenge 25
Policy and a staff training manual be implemented.
(e) that there
should always be two members of staff on the shop floor between the
trading hours of 22:00 hours and 00:00 hours.
4. That
condition 2.1 of the Operating Schedule be amended to
read:
‘That a comprehensive CCTV system
which is capable of providing evidence to a criminal standard be
installed, operated and maintained in good working order, and
provide adequate coverage of all sales and till areas as well as
the entrance door. The CCTV images must
retain all images for a minimum of 28 days which must be kept
available for the Police and Licensing Authority’.
