Purpose

To consider approving the commencement of a
procurement exercise for an ad hoc security contractor.

Content

1.         That the
commencement of an open tender exercise to procure an ad hoc
security contractor, for an initial two-year period with provision
for a one-year extension, be approved.

2.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Customer and Community
Services to:

(a)        finalise arrangements for the procurement including
the specification, to commence in March 2025; and

(b)       award the contract
following the tender exercise, subject to the receipt of acceptable
bids.
