Purpose

To consider approving the procurement of
Revenues and Benefits Business Systems from 1 April 2027, when the
existing contract expires.

Content

1.        
That the commencement of a procurement process to
establish a five-year contract (or other period resulting from the
pre-procurement exercise) for the provision of Revenues and
Benefits Business Systems, be approved.

2.
       
That, subject to further discussion, the provision
of the separate housing business system contract due for renewal in
April 2028 be considered at the same time as the Revenues and
Benefits Business systems procurement, should it be practically and
financially beneficial to do so, be approved.

3.        
That authority be delegated to the Director of
Finance and Resources, in consultation with the Cabinet member, to
approve the procurement approach and the final award of
contract.
