Purpose

To consider approving the procurement of a new
open framework, a Dynamic Procurement System (DPS), which will
replace the existing DPS, which ends in June 2025. The framework
allows easy access to public transport related services, for
example, for bus, taxi and demand responsive contracts for four
years to 2029.

Content

1.         That the
commencement of a procurement process to setup an open framework
for bus services, taxi services, demand responsive transport, adult
social care transport and emergency transport services, be
approved.

2.         The
authority be delegated to the
Director of Environment and Property, in consultation with the
Cabinet member, to tender and
award call-off contracts under the open framework following the
procurement.
