Purpose

To consider accepting the Local Authority Bus
Funding Grant 2025/26 from the Department for Transport.

Content

1.        
That the Local Authority Bus Grant (LABG) funding, which replaces bus service operator
grant funding, capability funding for transport and the bus service
improvement plan funding to a total of
£3.685m, be
accepted.

2.        
The authority be delegated to the Director of
Environment and Property, in consultation with the Cabinet member
for Public Realm, to tender and award contracts under the LABG spending plan.
