Purpose

To consider adopting a Management Land
Drainage Enforcement Policy, which will set out how the Lead Local
Flood Authority will review reported cases and take necessary
action where there would otherwise be a high likelihood of flooding
with significant impact.

Content

1.         That the
updated Management Land Drainage Enforcement Policy, as set out in
the attached Annex, be approved.

2.        
That authority
be delegated to the Director of Environment and Property, in
consultation with the Cabinet member for Public Realm, to make
minor and consequential amendments, finalise the arrangements for publishing of the
policy and implementing it via the Lead Local Flood
Authority.
