Purpose

To consider approving the commencement of an
open procurement process for the commissioning of a Medication
Administration Service.

Content

1.         That an
open tender process to commission and manage a Medication
Administration service, on behalf of CNWL, on a three-year
contract, with an optional two-year extension, be
commenced.

2.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Adult Services, in
consultation with the Cabinet member for
Adult Services, Health and Communities,
to:

(a)        finalise the
specification;

(b)       make arrangements to
finalise and agree a Service Level Agreementwith CNWL for the duration of the contract; and

(c)       
approve the award of contract to the successful
bidder, based on the most advantageous tender.
