Purpose

To consider approving the procurement for
capital works to enable the connection of several buildings to a
heat network, with the support of Public Sector Decarbonisation
Scheme (PSDS) grant funding.

Content

1.        
That the commencement of a procurement for capital
works through a mini competition via CCS Demand Management and Renewables
FrameworkLot 4.2 to enable the
connection of three buildings to a heat network, with the support
of Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme
grant funding, be approved.  

2.        
That authority be delegated to the Director of
Environment and Property, in consultation with the Cabinet member
for Planning and Placemaking and the Director of Finance and
Resources, to approve the award of contract to the successful
bidder following the mini competition.
