Purpose

To consider approving a Tree Insurance Policy
and an updated Operational Tree Policy.

Content

1.         That the
Tree Insurance Policy and the updated Operational Tree Policy,
attached at Annex A and B to the report, be approved
to ensure an effective and appropriate management
of the Council’s tree stock, and a clear process is set out
for the residents and businesses.

2.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Environment and Property,
in consultation with the Cabinet member for Public Realm, to
approve any consequential, or minor typographical / presentational
amendments, further to annual reviews.
