Purpose

To consider approving a short term framework
procurement for Digital Advertising on Highway Assets.

Content

1.       
That a re-procurement
of the ‘Advertisement on Bus Stop and Free Standing
Unit’ contract, via Crown
Commercial Services (CCS) Framework RM6349 Income Generation from
Assets and Estates under Lot 4 (Commercial Advertising: Combined Lots 1, 2
and 3), be agreed.

2.        
That the term of
contract be an initial one-year period, with a further two
six-month extension periods, subject to market commercial
opportunities.

3.        
That authority be
delegated to the Director of Environment and Property, in
consultation with the Cabinet member for Public Realm, to approve
the award of the contract following the competition and evaluation
under the CCS framework, subject to receiving suitable bids, as
well as the future extensions of the contract, up to the maximum
two years in total.
