Purpose

To consider approving an action plan to
increase recycling in blocks of flats / apartments. This includes
expanding food waste service to flats, the proposed Communications
Plan and Enforcement Policy for working with managing agents and
housing associations.

Content

1.         That the
Recycling Action Plan for Blocks of Flats, attached as an Annex,be
adopted to ensure the Council delivers the action plan for
improving recycling in flats including delivery of new services
across flats, high rise apartments and flats above shops in Milton
Keynes.

2.         That the
revised Enforcement Policy, contained in the attached Annex, be
adopted for the engagement and enforcement approaches for
residents, tenants, managing agents and housing associations
respectively.
