Purpose

To consider approving the vision and strategy
to become a leading city in climate action and
sustainability.

Content

1.         That the
Milton Keynes Sustainability Strategy (2025-2050) (Annex A to the
report) and City Action Plan (Annex B to the report) be
agreed.

2.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Planning and Placemaking,
in consultation with the Cabinet member for Planning and
Placemaking, to make inconsequential and other minor grammatical,
formatting, and photographic changes to the final documents, as
required.

3.         That the
summary of consultation responses (Annex C to the report), and the
Council’s Greenhouse Gas Emissions report 2024/25 (Annex D to
the report), be noted.
