1.            
That the staff from the Planning Department be
thanked for their report, their attendance at the meeting and their
contributions to the Committee’s scrutiny of this
item.

2.            
That the Committee welcomes the range of studies
which have been commissioned in order to inform the development of
the new City Plan and looks forward to being able to scrutinise the
results in due course.

3.            
That as part of the formulation of the new City
Plan, consideration be given to developing a “skyline
design” protocol for the centre of Milton Keynes to ensure
that the city centre skyline remains varied and
attractive.
