Decision

The Sub-Committee granted the application, subject to the following:

1. Opening Hours

            Monday to Sunday                           07:00 hours to 22:00 hours

            Sale of Alcohol (on and off sales)

            Monday to Sunday                           10:00 hours to 22:00 hours

1. That CCTV cover the entrance, alcohol display / fridge and the internal and external seating areas, and recordings be retained for a minimum of 30 days and made available to the Local Authority, the Licensing Authority or the Police on request.
2. That regular litter patrols be undertaken in the immediate vicinity of the premises during opening hours and the close of business.
3. That the sale of alcohol remain ancillary to the main business of the premises (coffee roasting, café and retail business) and not to operate primarily as an alcohol venue.
4. That incident and refusal logs be maintained and made available to the Local Authority, the Licensing Authority or the Police on request.
5. That all staff involved in alcohol sales to receive documented training on Challenge 25, refusals, proxy sales, intoxication and nuisance management.
