Purpose

To consider approving the addition of an early
years expansion capital grant to the Council's Capital Programme
and the arrangements for the award of the grants.

Content

1.         That the
Childcare Care Expansion Capital Grant be added to the Capital
Programme.

2.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Children’s Services
and the Assistant Director of Education to
decide which individual projects are to be funded from the
Childcare Expansion Capital Grant.
