The Sub-Committee carefully considered all the evidence
before it, including the Premise Users submissions, their verbal
amendments to their Notices and the objections from the Responsible
Authorities.
Mr Eshetu’s non-compliance in relation to
safeguarding issues and the seriousness of the incident on 5 May
2024 were noted.
The evidence of continued complaints of noise disturbance
and the capacity for further disorder were considered as serious
concerns.
The Sub-Committee resolved to uphold the objections to the
two Temporary Event Notices on the grounds of the Licensing
Objectives ‘The Prevention of Public Nuisance’ and
‘The Promotion of Public Safety’.
