Purpose

To consider approving a tender exercise,
funding and appointment for the design and conversion works for the
Charities Hub and Watling Way Centre at Galley Hill via a National
Procurement Framework.

Content

1.         That the
resource allocation and spend approval for the Charities Hub for
the improvements to Watling Way Centre be noted, and both be
included within the 2024/25 Capital Programme.

2.         That
approval to commence direct award via the Pagabo Medium
Works Framework for the design and conversion of
Charities Hub be granted.

3.         That
approval be granted to direct award the contract/s to a single
supplier as
outlined in paragraph 2.4 of the
report.

4.        
That authority be
delegated to the Director Environment and Property to award the
main contract/s in consultation with the Cabinet member and the
Assistant Director of Finance, subject to the procured costs coming
within the approved resource allocation or subject to further
financial approvals where the costs exceed the approved
resource.
