Purpose

To consider approving an extension of the OPUS
temporary staffing joint venture.

Content

1.        
That the joint venture with OPUS and other
authorities, which ensures value for money and consistent service,
be continued.

2.         That a
contract for the provision of temporary staff to Opus People
Solution (East) Limited be awarded for three years starting 1
September 2024 with a likely end date of 31 August 2027.

3.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Finance and Resources, in
consultation with the Cabinet member for Resources and Customer
Experience, to finalise the arrangements for the
contract.
