Purpose

To consider approving a Sports England Phase 2
Swimming Pool Support Fund grant to Parkwood Leisure to improve the
carbon efficiency of Woughton Leisure Centre.

Content

1.         That the
acceptance of the Swimming Pool Support Fund Phase 2 capital grant
award by Sports England to Milton Keynes City Council for Woughton
Leisure Centre, be approved.
2.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Customer and Community
Services, in consultation with the Cabinet member for Regulatory
Services, to draw down and approve the award of £297,000 from
Sport England grant funding to Parkwood Leisure
to improve the carbon
efficiency at Woughton Leisure Centre.
