Purpose

We intend to commission a 2-bed residential
children’s home expressly for 2 complex-needs young people
who we would like to repatriate to Milton Keynes. We propose a
contract of 5 years (3 years’ core term +2).

Content

1.         That the
public and press be excluded from the meeting by virtue of
Paragraph 3 (Information Relating to the Financial or Business
Affairs of the Authority) of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Local
Government Act 1972, in order that the meeting consider the exempt
Annex to the report.

2.        
That approval be granted to commence an
open procurement process to appoint a contractor to provide care
services at Fenny House in Bletchley.The contract will be for a
term of three years with the option to extend for further periods
not exceeding two years.

3.         That
authority be delegated to the Director of Children’s
Services, to progress arrangements for a Heads of Terms for any
lease of Fenny House.
