Purpose

To consider the commencement of a tender
exercise for:
• children’s advocacy and associated services; and
• statutory services for adults.

Content

1.        
That the
commencement of an open tender procurement process for
Children’s and Adults Advocacy services be agreed for a
period of three years with the
option to extend, for a further two years should the service(s)
perform to a satisfactory standard.

2.        
That authority be delegated to the
Director Adult Services and the Director Children’s Services
to:

(a)        award the
contract following the completion of the tender process;
and

(b)       enact the contract
extension period if, and when, required.
