RESOLVED
–
That the
Committee:
1.     
note the update
provided;
2.     
support the exploration of
in-house provision of residential homes for children;
3.     
support the positive work of
the social work apprenticeship scheme and recommend considering
expansion where possible.
4.     
support attempts to recruit
further foster carers;
5.     
support the use of block
placements where possible; and
6.     
review the assumptions and
amendments to the budget allocated to Children’s Services in
the draft 2025/26 budget and consider whether further
scrutinisation is required at that stage.
