The Standards Committee is responsible for promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct among councillors and co-opted members of Neath Port Talbot Council. It considers and determines alleged breaches of the council's code of conduct, and advises the council on standards matters. The committee's work ensures public trust and confidence in local government by upholding ethical principles and investigating complaints.
