Decision:

Having had due regard to the Integrated Impact Assessment, approval is granted to adopt 20 December to 24 December as the permanent annual dates, from 2026 onwards, for the agreed five days of free parking in town centre car parks.

Reason for Decision:

To seek approval to introduce fixed annual dates for the five days of free Christmas parking in town centre car parks, to simplify the current process, reduce administrative burden, avoid confusion, and provide greater certainty for businesses, residents and visitors.

Implementation of Decision:

That the decision be implemented after the three-day call-in period.
