(ii)             That Council be asked to authorise the following actions;

                                i.                         that the Article 4 Direction, in recommendation 1, is applied immediately having been satisfied, with regard to the evidence contained within Appendix 1, that continued unrestricted exercise of the relevant permitted development right would be prejudicial to the proper planning of the identified area and/or constitute a threat to its amenities, and that an immediate Direction is therefore justified.

                               ii.                         That the Deputy Chief Executive carries out the required statutory procedures for the making of the immediate Article 4 Direction, including a consultation for a period of at least six weeks to allow comment on the proposals.

                              iii.                         Instructs officers to bring a report to Council following the end of the representation period to consider any comments received and to decide whether to confirm the immediate Article 4 Direction.

                             iv.                         Notes that following a review of evidence, that those areas currently outside of the boundary of the proposed Article 4 direction will be kept under review in case of a change in circumstances that necessitate the boundary of the Article 4 Direction to change in future.
