Purpose

To enter into highway Dedication and Adoption
Agreements with Taylor Wimpey Developments Limited, Persimmon Homes
North East Limited, BDW Trading Limited, Beazer Homes Limited and
Bryant Homes Northern Limited (being the Developers/Landowners) for
roads and associated highway infrastructure within the existing
residential development at Melbury, Cell I of Newcastle Great Park
(Development).

Content

Authorise the Council of the City of Newcastle
upon Tyne (Council) to enter into three Highway
Dedication and Adoption Agreements under section 38 of the Highways
Act 1980 (Highway Agreement) with the
Developers/Landowners, relating to the highways and street lighting
referred to in paragraphs 3.1 and 4.1, for the sections of the
Development as shown on plans reference 1N NGP_S38P1/01, 1N
NGP_S38P2/01 and 1N NGP_S38P3/01, attached.
To authorise the Assistant Director of Legal
Services to complete the necessary legal documentation.
