Purpose

To seek a delegated decision to advertise and
make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order under Section 14 (1) (b)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily impose
various closures, restrictions to parking restrictions and traffic
control measures to ensure the safety of attendees, staff, and the
general public in the Claremont Road Area whilst the ‘Come
Together Festival’ takes place. It is also essential to
provide secure access for emergency services, event infrastructure
setup and breakdown, and to maintain clear pedestrian routes in
high-footfall areas.

authorising the Temporary Traffic Regulation Order described in
this report to be advertised and made.
