Purpose

To seek a delegated decision to advertise a
Traffic Regulation Notice for the introduction of a Puffin
Crossing, and, if no objections are received, proceed with the
installation.

Content

 
i. 
That notices in respect of the introduction of a pedestrian
crossing as described in this report, should be prepared, and
advertised in line with the proposals below; and
 
ii. 
That in the event that no objections are received following the
period of consultation required by statute, that the circumstances
do not warrant the holding of a Public Inquiry, and the pedestrian
crossing should be installed.
