Purpose
Cabinet is being asked to:
• Approve a public consultation on a proposed Selective scheme
in the Byker and High Cross areas of the City based on the
statutory requirements that there is deprivation and high levels of
anti-social behaviour in these areas compared to other parts of the
City.
• Agree that a report be brought back to cabinet following
consultation to provide an update on the findings and proposed next
steps of whether or not to redesignate.

Cabinet agreed to:
i)
