Purpose

A Grant Funding Agreement with the North East
Combined Authority is required to be entered into in order to
accept the funding provided by the Department for Transport (DfT)
as part of the Active Travel Capability Fund allocation to the
North East. Approval is sought to take forward delivery, and
necessary procurement activities associated with this project as
detailed in the report.

The recommendations are for the
Assistant Director of Transport to approve the entering into a
Grant Funding Agreement with the North East Combined Authority in
order to receive funding allocated from the Capability Fund of
£139,000.
