Purpose

Building upon previous work to secure North
East Combined Authority (NECA) funding for the delivery of a new
world class recording studio within Live Theatre’s Coronation
Buildings; NCC support will cover essential fees and associated
costs which cannot be recovered from NECA, and therefore fall
outside the scope of that project.

Content

Authorise the award of
funding to Live Theatre and entry into Grant Funding Agreement
(GFA) with them to allow them to deliver the Quayside Recording
Studio – essential fees activity.
Authorise the
Assistant Director Legal Services to conclude any required
documentation required to implement this decision.
