Purpose

This report seeks approval for the use of
section 106 funds and Accelerated Development Zone funds for
highways and public realm improvements in the East Pilgrim Street
area.

The recommendations
are:
To authorise
£63,793.27 of Accelerated Development Zone (ADZ) funding
approved as a match to the Local Growth Fund (LGF) grant for
highways and public realm improvements to East Pilgrim Street,
which is currently earmarked for improving the pedestrian links
over the A167 motorway, to be utilised instead for improvements to
the subway connecting the street to Swan House
Roundabout. 
To authorise the use
of £63,793.27 of S106 funds for the improvement to the
pedestrian link across the A167 motorway.
To drawdown the
Section106 funding referenced.
