Purpose

We
are seeking approval through a Key DD to allocate funding. The key
DD seeks approval to award recommended grants (following an
evaluation process) under Round 15 of the Newcastle Fund, which is
the council’s main grant giving programme for voluntary and
community organisations, charities and social
enterprises.

The Fund supports projects which use the skills and knowledge of
local people to:
• Build community connection
• Improve individuals' connections
• Improve health and wellbeing

Content

The recommendations were agreed as outlined in
the attached report.
