Purpose

NCC have the opportunity to participate in a
zero cost pilot project for up to 3years which will improve our
access to increased data analysis on the use of our free public
Wi-Fi offer. This data will be used by NCC and key partners (such
as Newcastle Gateshead Initiative) to evaluate and inform event
activities and promotions and as a potential opportunity to market
information to WiFi users.

Approve NCC entering into 3
year pilot (under Memorandum of Understanding) with PurpleAI for
free access to Purple’s Capture License product and the
creation of aggregated and anonymous analytics view that will show
data for not only NCC’s own venues but all other venues
within Newcastle running Purple Accounts.
 
Approve NCC acting as a case study for
PurpleAI on the use of the product.
