Purpose

This report will update Cabinet on a recent
Planning Advisory Service Peer Review and seek agreement for
Officers to progress with the recommendations.

Content

Cabinet agreed to:
 

i) 
Note the Peer Challenge report (Appendix 1 of the report) and
approve its publication on the Council’s website.

 

ii) 
Agree to publish the Action Plan (Appendix 2 of the report) which
responds to each of the 10 recommendations in the Planning Service
Peer Challenge Report. The Action Plan is a live document which
will be updated regularly on the website to ensure transparency.
The purpose of the Action Plan is to set out how the authority will
consider the recommendation of the Peer Challenge Report (Appendix
1 of the report).
