Purpose

To seek a delegated
decision to advertise a proposed Permanent Traffic Regulation Order
(TRO), and in the event that no objections are received, to proceed
with making the TRO. The Order will enable the closure of Redheugh
Bridge to vehicular traffic during essential maintenance or
construction works.

Content

Authorise:
1. that notices in respect of the Traffic
Regulation Order described in this report, should be prepared, and
advertised in line with the proposals below authorising the
preparation and advertisement of the notices; and
2. that in the event that no objections are
received following the period of consultation required by statute,
that the circumstances do not warrant the holding of a Public
Inquiry; the Traffic Regulation Order shall be made.
