Purpose

Newcastle City Council have submitted key
information to form a bid for Newcastle to be a host city for a key
international event. The council will need to make a financial
commitment towards the cost of the host city requirements.
 
In order to proceed
we must also sign a host city agreement. A decision is required to
make the financial commitment and sign the host city agreement
following approvals from legal services.
