Purpose

To seek a delegated
decision to advertise a Traffic Regulation Order and in the event
that no objections are received, make a Traffic Regulation Order
for the introduction of a 20mph speed limit and waiting
restrictions on Benwell Dene Terrace and the surrounding areas.
 

Content

Authorise:
1. that notices in
respect of the Traffic Regulation Order described in this report,
should be prepared, and advertised in line with the proposals below
authorising the preparation and advertisement of the notices;
and
2. that in the event
that no objections are received following the period of
consultation required by statute, that the circumstances do not
warrant the holding of a Public Inquiry; the Traffic Regulation
Order shall be made.
