Purpose

To seek a Delegated
Decision to advertise a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) as part of
the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) scheme for the area of
Great North Road between Forsyth Road and Rotary Way, and, in the
event that no objections are received, to make the TRO to implement
the proposed traffic management and road safety improvements.

Content

Authorise:
1. that notices in
respect of the Traffic Regulation Order described in this report,
should be prepared, and advertised in line with the proposals below
authorising the preparation and advertisement of the notices;
and
2. that in the event
that no objections are received following the period of
consultation required by statute, that the circumstances do not
warrant the holding of a Public Inquiry; the Traffic Regulation
Order shall be made.
