Purpose

Cabinet approval is being sought to delegate
authority to the Director of Housing and Communities to determine
the final spending plan for 2026/27, following confirmation of the
funding allocation by the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local
Government (MHCLG), and to enter into homelessness funding
agreements for 2026/27 in compliance with MHCLG grant
conditions.
